Nabokov Project

Five Songs on poems by Vladimir Nabokov    

Taken form 39 Russian Poems, the original idea was staging very short vocal pieces on Pierrot Ensemble held together like an Opera.

Each of the poems were commissioned by the Foundation to a different composer from  St. Petersburg and abroad. The first presentation of this music will be in concert performance at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic in the chamber music concert of the festival.

We hope to find the resources to stage with the creation of the Video Art designer and Stage Director Alexander Malishev and have a performance with it with Opera Incognita St.Petersburg
